Time to Leap into a New Release ***GIVEAWAY***

Hey folks!  Happy Thursday to you all.  Today I'm excited to share a brand new set that Kris has created.  This set is close to my heart as it was a request I made to Kris. My husband, Raymond, is a French Canadian born in northern Ontario and absolutely loves frogs! While throughout history many people have used the term Frog as an ethnic slur against French people, my hubby embraced it! I can't even count how many he has in his collection at this point.

So, I asked Kris if she would make a set showing a little boy with brown hair surrounded by his froggy friends and voilĂ , Raymond's Frogs was born! Both the set and this post are dedicated to the man who inspired it.  Check it out...

Isn't Raymond just so cute?  I love the expression on his face as he hangs out with his pals!  Well, I just had to create something special using this set for my hubby so I designed a screen saver for him.  One of the items that he covets is an IPad. He has been talking about getting one for several years; problem is that we just can't afford to waste money on one.  So, instead he has an imitation version but for now it suits his purposes.  Hopefully, one day I'll find a way to make his IPad dream come true but for now, he'll have to settle with an IPad screen saver instead.

I liked the idea of using the IPad, not only for the reason mentioned above but also for the double entendre of frogs living on lily pads.  I hope that the hubs likes his surprise.

I'm not the only one who had fun with this set, a few of the gals on the DT also enjoyed working with Raymond's Frogs.  Here are a few fabby samples using this new set...

Would you like to win this adorable set, as shown above? To be eligible, simply leave a comment answering the following question...

Do you, or any member of your household,
have any type of collection?
Well, as you now know, the hubs is a collector of frogs. Together we have both amassed a few other collections including cats, penguins, angels and candle holders! I'd have to say it is a toss up between the angels and the candle holders as to which collection is the largest. The one downfall with collections is that once everyone knows you collect something, that is what you get for gifts. As we've been married for over 27 years, that is a lot of items spread across five different collections!  With a move to a smaller home coming up in our future, I'm dreading deciding what stays and what goes!  That is a fight I'm definitely not ready for yet!!!

You have until 3:00 p.m. (PST) on Monday, July 18th, to get your response submitted.

We will announce the winner of this set on Tuesday, July 19th at 3:00 p.m.  Don't forget you'll have just two weeks to claim your prize, if you are the lucky winner!

I have collected different things in my life. At one time I had several carousel horses which I finally gave away. Right now I collect butterflies and hedgehogs. I have a thimble collection too. Edwina Brown

In the past I've collected Noah's Ark and Precious moments. My current collections are cats and Willow Tree figurines. Of course to see my craft room you'd think patterned papers and dies were what I collect. LOL

Loved hearing the story behind the set. That's so cool!!

Let's see I have a porcelain cat collection, Roman Seraphim Angels Collection, Native American Porcelain Doll collection, thimbles from places I travel collection, magnet collection from places I go, my Star Trek Ornament collection and Hallmark ornaments collection, and of course my crafting tools collection and my digi stamps collections. As you can see I'm a compulsive collector. :-)

This set is so darn cute. Right now I don't really collect anything (except dies, embossing folders, and digital stamps) but if my kids see a beautiful cross they will get it for me.

I collect spoons from all over the world :) mostly states in the US, but I do have some from Ireland and London when my parents traveled. I also have a small collection of birdhouses.

First, these cards are all so precious. I love frogs! Honestly, I have a few different collections, but none were started by me! I have teddy bears, Winnie the Pooh memorabilia, roosters, porcelain dolls, and Angel figurines (there's probably more that just isn't coming to mind at the moment). These are all things that I like (except the dolls -- they creep me out!), but I'm not generally a collector. However, at some point someone gave me a gift of each of these things, and then without fail, both my mom and mother-in-law decided that I needed more of them. LOL!

I used to collect shot glasses from places I visited or went on vacation. My goal was to get one from every state. It started to not be so fun when my family/friends started "helping" me and I was bombarded with shot glasses that meant nothing to me. On a more ridiculous side hubby collected antique fire trucks for awhile. Stop laughing. I'll bet you are wondering how that went in my life. It only lasted five years when we had three in our backyard and I said -- time to sell your collection.
