DT Inspiration Friday

Happy Friday all *Ü*  Time for our designers to share and inspire you!
(This week with commentary *Ü* from me... guess I'm extra chatty today)

Guest Designer, Monique

Isn't this beautiful?  Love all the yellow hearts, really pops off the blue, and her diecuts are just perfect for this.  So creative using a real picture of blue petunias in the background.  Lovely card Monique!

What a fun card - loving the li'l speach bubble with the heart and can you see the crystal effects on his eyes?  Cute glittered bow too and that background is awesome!  Hmmm, could that be brayered on?  Pop on over to her blog to read the deets :)

Very pretty - love that background paper, the sketch and of course pearls are always so pretty on a card.  :)

Very sweet card, Love the use of the 3d flowers and gems that are so characteristic of Linda's style.

she also used digi papers from our store - go check them out!

Beautiful card to have on hand to just send "a note" to someone :)  Again, the 3d flowers and pearls are so "Linda."  Very elegant card.

Surprise Find!!
Here's a card I had never seen before, but came across it this week when Google-ing something.  What a fab find!!

What a creative idea to put Nurse Ashley on a "Red Cross" shaped card!!  I love this so much and Sheena's coloring of this nurse is outstanding.  Love it!!

These next few cards you may have seen before, but they are lovely and I thought I'd Re-showcase some cards for those of you who are newer to our blog :)

A lovely card by Tania using the decoupage technique (?) She cut out parts of the image and popped it on top of the already printed image and the embossed & sponged background is beautiful!

Graduation is approaching fast!  We also have a Graduation Boy set and a fuller set with both boy/girl plus sentiments!  I really love the coloring, the use of notebook paper and the fun colored stars in the background.

Love how Tania colored the tower striped to create a different look, maybe even a different lighthouse?  Perfect with the birds in sky she drew in and sponged clouds.  Twine "ties" it all together!

I love the coloring of image, and of course the cut-out of DAD and flag and the cute embossing that resembles golf balls :)  This card is PAR-fect for Father's Day coming up!

and then with dance recital season coming up, here's a set that's perfect for li'l tappers...

This is one digi that's close to my heart because I drew her after my own daughter when she was in Tap Dance at age 4.  : )  Love Jenee's coloring, fancy frame and bow/flower are perfect to tie this all together!

This too was created from a picture of my daughter in Ballet at 3-4 years old. They grow up so fast and sometimes memories start to fade, so I love that I was able to capture them in digis that can be used for years and years to come!   Lynne's coloring is gorgeous, and I love the shimmery background with rickrack.
