You are whaley the best

I started a new job today so I wasn't going to post a card; however, this is such a wonderful team that I found enough energy when I got home to make a card and here it is.  It is using the wonderful set of Under the Sea and I made it a Decorative Corner Card which I have made a couple of and just love.  If you want more details see my blog.

Who's the 'Cherry on Top' for November?

Wow, wow, wow... can I just say that quality trumped quantity when it came to our 'Digi of the Month' challenge for November!!  There were some gorgeously colored images and out-of-the-box creatively styled cards that it's going to be so hard to pick a winner!  But alas.... it's that time to announce our "Cherry on Top" awardee from those who took the challenge!  The winner receives this cute blog badge and a digi set of his or her choice!

Each month, our DT takes a turn to pick who our 'Cherry on Top' awardee will be.  As we are going in alphabetical order, it is my turn, (Kris)!  Here is what I had to say about my Top Pick...
"While I am absolutely wowed by fabulous coloring, I also can't resist a Fancy Fold or anything out-of-the-norm.  Carrie's shaker card takes the cake this round.  From the colorful leaves and beads to the miniature 'Harvest Basket' digis, who could resist giving this a shake?!   Awesome card Carrie!!"

Congratulations Carrie!
Please feel free to display the blog award at the top of our post and then find your gift code from Lisa D., our Cherry on Top Coordinator, in your inbox soon!

Harvest Kitties!

Here's a card I made using the sweet Pumpkin Kitties digi set.
I went crazy with the stitching on this but I think it was nice as it went well with the colors, the theme and the burlap bow.

Happy Harvest

Blessings of the Season

If I had this many kitties hiding in a pumpkin I'd absolutely snap a photo and keep the memory forever - they are just darling, aren't they?  Lynne will be leaving our team very soon so I wanted to wish her a happy farewell from all of us at Imagine That!  Linda has been the "bomb dot com" as my kiddoes would say, LOL - but seriously, I couldn't ask for a better DT member.  Thank you Lynne for ALL you've done here and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.

PS.... don't you just LOVE her take on this image?!!  She colored the "tails" green like pumpkin flourishes, love that!! :)

Christmas Sled & Owl with Robin ***Winners***

Hello to you all on this fine Wednesday!  It is time to share the names of the winners of the recent new release giveaways (you can find the initial post HERE).  But of course, before I do, it is time to be inspired by creations from two of my incredibly talented teammies.

First up is this fabulous card that Helen created as inspiration using items from the Christmas Sled set.

As always, Helen has created a wonderful card.  This one showcases the outline image and one of the sentiments from this set.  I love the papers she worked with and the fact that she used the same kind of colour palette in her image.  The perfect sentiment and brads top it off.  Any dog lover would be thrilled to get a card using the images from this set.

Next up is a lovely creation that Linda A. put together using items from the Owl with Robin set.

Linda A.'s  projects never disappoint either!  This time she has created a sweet card using an image, a sentiment and a paper from this set.  I love the blue snowflake embossed panel in behind the image.  While Linda has opted to use the winter owl image, remember, the versatility of this set allows you to use it for other occasions as well.

Time to Pick a Winner!!!
From November 21st to November 22nd, readers had the opportunity to leave a comment for their chance to win either the Christmas Sled set, or Owl with Robin set as shown above.

For the Christmas Sled set, offered up HERE, readers were asked to answer the following question:  If you could unwrap one fantasy crafting gift this holiday season, what would it be?

Several of you had the same crafting wish as I did, wanting one of the versatile electronic die cutting machines; though, there were some other choices including: Tattered Floral dies; complete set of MFT's dies; stamp sets; dies and embossing folders; a coloured printer; 1 year's supply of adhesive; and finally a complete set of Copic Sketch markers.  Indirect crafting related choices included the gift of time and a bigger crafting space--which I'm sure we could ALL use.  One of our readers was willing to give up all her crafting supplies, simply to have her son home and in good health with her for Christmas.  Now that is love!

Our winner of the Christmas Sled set is (chosen randomly with Mini Webtool)...
Tina Z.

Next up, for the Owl with Robin set, offered up HERE, readers were asked to answer the following question:  Are you finished creating all of your cards yet for the 2015 holiday season?

The absolute consensus is a BIG NO!  I find it an absolute hoot that NOT ONE person who commented is done with their Christmas cards.  I really don't feel so bad anymore. ;)

Our winner of the Owl with Robin set is (chosen randomly with Mini Webtool)...
Mel C.

Owl with Robin ***Giveaway***

Hello and happy Sunday everyone!  It's Lisa D. here and I am back with our second giveaway.  Yesterday, our first giveaway was launched with your opportunity to win the Christmas Sled set from our recent new releases.  You still have some time to submit your answer for your chance to win that set, so if you missed it, please click HERE.

Today the spotlight is on Owl with Robin but first up it is time for a little inspiration from Lisa Lynn...

I really like this clean and simple card from Lisa Lynn using the coloured image from the set along with one of the sentiments.  She has also used a pretty digital paper from the set.  I love the complementary colours of the peach and blue in this particular one.  While Lisa Lynn has opted for using the winter owl from the set, remember that there is a more generic one included as well so that you can use the set for other times of year.  Just another wonderful reason to invest in it.

Giveaway Time!!
Would you like to win this sweet set, Owl with Robin, as shown below?  To be eligible, simply leave a comment answering the following question...

Are you finished creating all of your cards yet for the 2015 holiday season? answer to this one  While I THINK I have enough for mailing out purposes, I haven't started my mother's or my father's card yet.  I also try each year to make a set of five for my mom as part of her gift so that she can use them the following year.  I haven't even started those ones yet.  This is the only reason it is a good thing that we won't be travelling to see them at Christmas.  I'll have a few extra months to work on them because obviously 12 just isn't enough. ;)

You have until 6:00 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, Nov. 24th, to get your response submitted.

We will announce the winners of this set on Wednesday, Nov. 25th!

Christmas Sled ***Giveaway***

Hello folks!  The weekend is here and I hope it is a good one for you.  Today I am popping in to showcase one of the newest releases out this past week, Christmas Sled.

I even had time to create a card with this set.  While it is currently still in digital format, I will be printing it out soon so that I can pop it into the mail!  Check it out...

Isn't that puppy adorable?!  One of the great things about this particular set is that Kris has provided an extra image option.  Along with the standard outline image and coloured image, this set also has a snowy background that you can choose.  I generally try and add a background to my images when working digitally, and with this card, I already had a ready made image and background to work with.  This is a perfect time saver for all busy designers!

For this card I used two of the papers that are in the Christmas Sled set as well.  Additionally, I also used resources from Kris' Winter Arabesque Mega Kit--an AMAZING selection of items.  There are 10 mini kits in this mega kit, all for the incredible price of only $10.00.  Alternatively, you can purchase any of the mini kits separately as well.

Giveaway Time!!

If you could unwrap one fantasy crafting gift this holiday season, what would it be?

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!! There are a number of crafting supplies that I seem to covet.  I could really use some embossing folders and die cut shapes BUT if I had the chance to choose one 'fantasy' item to unwrap, It would have to be one of the electronic die cutting machines that allows you to hook up to your computer and cut svg files.  I often would love the ability to take one of my sentiments or some of the images I use and cut them within a beautiful shape.  Additionally, there are so many neat three dimensional projects that can be created with one of these machines. Yes indeedy, that would be the ultimate gift.  However, with our budget, it just isn't a reality.  So for now, I'll just sit back and continue to dream.

You have until 6:00 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, Nov. 24th, to get your response submitted.

We will announce the winners of this set on Wednesday, Nov. 25th!

An Autumn Hi from Pumpkin Bunny

Happy Saturday!!  As i'm sitting here typing this tonight, the wind is blowing so hard it sounds like it's ripping the shingles off our roof!  I just sent hubby out to check and nope, but they are flapping pretty hard.  Fall is definitely here - and winter is fast approaching.

Lynne has created these 2 fabulous cards today using an "Oldie but Goodie" digi set called "Pumpkin Bunny"

The first card is hand colored by Lynne, and the 2nd uses our precolored version.  Are they adorable?

You can find the set here:

Praying for Paris Freebie

Yes, we're praying for Paris, and praying for PEACE around the world.  It doesn't take a priest to know that we are in the end times and it's going to get worse before it gets better.  But in Christ Jesus, we don't have to worry or be afraid... we can have absolute certainty that He (Jesus) will come again and set things straight, and there really will be peace on earth.  Our hearts to go out to the victims of the horrific bombings... and for the families and friends of those who lost their lives.  Here is a tiny token, taken from my "J'aime Paris" kit for you to create something from your heart to show your support.

You'll want to click to open them full size before saving.
The first TWO are in JPG format, the last two are in PNG format.

with love & prayers,
